The Buying Process at Goodstone & Quartz
At Goodstone & Quartz, we pride ourselves on providing an exceptional customer experience, guiding you through every step of the buying process to find your perfect stone. Here’s what you can expect when working with us:
1. Obtaining Measurements for Estimating
To get started, fill out our form below or have us visit the project site at no charge or commitment. For new kitchen layouts with new cabinets, we can estimate from the cabinet designer's drawing. Alternatively, make a simple drawing yourself and email it to us. Don't worry about it being exact; we will create a template later in the buying process. Please call us for guidance!
2. Selecting Your Slabs
Visit our showroom to view our extensive inventory of granite, quartz, marble, and other stone slabs, including many popular colors. If you don't find the perfect color in our inventory, we can visit importers to explore hundreds of colors from around the world. Bring a cabinet door or sample for better pairing decisions.
3. Receive an Estimate and Make a Deposit
With the stone and edge selected, we'll provide a formal estimate for your review, offering multiple options to help you decide. When you're satisfied with the price, sign the estimate and provide a 50% deposit payment.
4. Schedule the Template
Within 48 hours, we'll call you to discuss the best time to schedule the template. During this 1-3 hour process, they'll discuss all details and seek your input on decisions like overhang depth or outside radius size.
5. Installation and Final Payment
Installation occurs within 2 weeks of the template. Our team will complete the process within 2-6 hours, depending on the project's size and complexity. The final 50% payment is due at this time, with checks preferred (credit cards accepted with a 3% extra charge).
